1. Introduction — who we are

Please read these Terms of Service (“Terms”) carefully. By placing an order with us you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not accept these Terms, do not place an order.


2. Definitions

“Buyer”, “you” and “your” means the person, business or other legal entity who purchases or agrees to purchase goods from us. “Goods” means watches and related items offered for sale on our site.


3. Formation of contract

A binding contract between you and Box and Docs Ltd is formed when we send an order confirmation email. If we cannot accept your order (for example because the goods are unavailable or there is a pricing error), we will inform you and refund any payment taken.


4. Prices and payment

All prices shown are in GBP and include VAT where applicable. We accept the payment methods displayed at checkout. Payment is taken at the time of order. We reserve the right to cancel or refuse an order where the price displayed is manifestly incorrect due to an obvious error.


5. Delivery, shipping address & fraud checks

We use insured carriers for all deliveries. For fraud-prevention and insurance compliance, goods are dispatched only to the cardholder’s billing address. As part of routine fraud-prevention checks and insurer requirements we may contact you by phone or email to verify identity, address or other details. Please do not be offended — these checks are carried out to prevent fraud and to ensure the watch is insurable in transit. Orders will be dispatched once verification is complete.


Estimated delivery times are provided at checkout. Risk in the goods passes to you on delivery. Title to the goods passes to you only once we have received full payment.


6. Availability & delivery problems

If any item is out of stock we will notify you and offer a refund or an alternative. We are not responsible for carrier or customs delays caused by third parties.


7. Returns, cancellations & refunds

Your statutory consumer rights apply. 8. Non-affiliation and trademarks

Box and Docs Ltd is an independent reseller, buyer and consignor of pre-owned and new watches. We are not an authorised dealer, agent, franchisee, affiliate, or representative of any manufacturer or trademark owner shown on this site. Brand names, model numbers and trademarks are used for identification and descriptive purposes only. All trademarks remain the property of their respective owners.


9. Description, authenticity & condition

We make reasonable efforts to describe goods accurately. All watches are authenticated by our specialists prior to sale. Descriptions may note condition (new / pre-owned / serviced). If you have concerns about authenticity or a listing, contact us immediately and we will investigate.


10. Warranties & statutory rights

We provide a separate Warranty & Faults page that explains our limited warranty and the process for reporting faults: /pages/warranty. These Terms do not affect your statutory rights as a consumer under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 or other applicable law.


11. Liability

Subject to your statutory rights and to the maximum extent permitted by law: (a) our liability for death or personal injury resulting from our negligence or that of our employees or agents is not limited; (b) for other loss or damage we will only be liable up to the purchase price of the relevant goods. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses.


12. Payment disputes & chargebacks

If a payment dispute arises (for example a chargeback), we will cooperate with card issuers and insurers in investigating the transaction. Where we identify attempted fraud we reserve the right to retain the goods pending investigation and to refuse future orders.


13. International sales & customs

For deliveries outside the UK you are responsible for any import duties, taxes and customs clearance. Such charges are not included in the displayed price.


14. Intellectual property

All content on this site (text, images, logos, designs) is owned by or licensed to Box and Docs Ltd. You may not copy, reproduce or use site content without our prior written permission.


15. Data protection

We process your personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy: /pages/privacy-policy. By ordering you consent to our processing of your data for the purposes of order fulfilment, fraud prevention and marketing (where consent is given).


16. Third-party services

Third-party services (payment processors, couriers, marketplaces) may be used to provide parts of the service. We are not responsible for third-party sites’ content or availability.


17. Assignation & third parties

We may assign or transfer our rights and obligations under these Terms to an affiliated company or purchaser of our business. Your rights remain unaffected. No third party (other than permitted assigns) has any right under these Terms.


18. Force majeure

We are not liable for failure to perform where that failure is due to events outside our reasonable control (including strikes, pandemics, acts of God, carrier delays or supply shortages).


19. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, it will be severed and the remainder of the Terms will remain valid.


20. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The Terms applicable to your order are those published on the site at the time of your order confirmation.


21. Governing law & jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of England & Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts, except where you have statutory consumer rights that state otherwise.
